Do torsion garage door springs come with safety cables?
No, the safety cables are added separately. Torsion springs do not necessarily come with safety cables but we think it is really important that you get them for safety purposes. Theyr'e the main way to stop your door from crashing down in the event that your springs break.
Do I need to put a lock on my garage door?
It depends on the type of garage door you have. If you have an electric door, there is no need as the opener functions as the lock, making it impossible for a burglar to get inside without your remote or key code. However, if you are using a manual type of door and no opener is installed, it is highly recommended to install a lock.
Can I replace the window on my garage door?
Usually, the glass part of the window frame of a steel garage door can be replaced, regardless of the model and make of the door. We generally don't advise that you try and do this yourself though as it can be very fiddly for an untrained person to handle. Contact our technicians, we'll be glad to help.
