Can’t always depend on the garage door opener to function properly. Problems keep recurring and customer isn’t sure why.
Our Solution:
Started to troubleshoot the garage door opener to figure out where the problems lied. Found several issues that we proceeded to address during the visit. Replaced motor gear with a new one as the old unit was dull and worn. Also replaced some frayed wiring in the opener box itself. Tested garage door sensors as well to ensure the safety reverse mechanism was functional. Checked with customer a month later, who reported no problems anymore.
